Dr. Dave is a psychiatrist, neuroscientist, entrepreneur & inventor who has been studying the impact of chronic stress in humans for over 15 years. His research has focused on evaluating minimally-invasive therapies, such as wearables and psychedelic-assisted therapy, for treatment-resistant illnesses such as PTSD and depression. He is the co-founder & chief innovation officer at Apollo Neuroscience and the Executive Director of The Board of Medicine.
In addition to his clinical psychiatry practice , Dr. Rabin is a venture partner at the Noetic Fund and is currently conducting research with MAPS on the epigenetic regulation of trauma responses and recovery to improve our understanding of the mechanisms of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
He received his MD in medicine and PhD in neuroscience from Albany Medical College and specialized in psychiatry with a distinction in research at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Rabin is a practitioner of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and is trained in MDMA-assisted therapy.
